On Sunday 13 July, my wife Hazel and I took part in a 130 foot sponsored abseil down the Avon Gorge close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The charity being supported was the Penny Brohn Cancer Care charity, and we raised about £600. It was enjoyable but over very quickly! Saltford Lodge made a generous donation of £100 pounds and also raised an additional £200 at the festive board - Thank you

Simon is a Master Mason and Saltford Lodge's Chaplain, Lodge Information Officer, Web Master and a member of Somerset's Provincial IT Support Team. He is a Chartered member of the BCS and has been involved in IT in many different areas since 1961, including 13 years in the Royal Artillery.
